A visual identity for a digital art platform reframing the way we see art.
Overview

OpenGrid is a digital art marketplace built to connect two worlds, historical works and digital-native art. We created a brand that treats this tension not as a gap but as space for something new to emerge.

The identity shifts between formats. A serif that nods to print and publishing. A pixel type that references early screen culture. An italic that cuts through both, mirroring the range of the platform’s content and audience. From painters moving into NFTs to designers uploading coded compositions.

Across visuals, we use interruption as a theme. Classical paintings are masked by digital blocks. Artworks are framed inside pixel structures. Every detail points to the idea of OpenGrid as a curated digital surface; alive, layered, open.

Creative Direction

This project was developed as an in-house concept, exploring how digital interfaces can speak the language of fine art. The identity is built around tension between serif and pixel, structure and noise. Every design move reflects the collision and coexistence of eras.
